Donations to Ramakrishna Mission, Belur Math,(Headquarters),for Permanent Fund

1. All donations to Ramakrishna Mission, Belur Math, are exempt from Income Tax under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act, 1961 by Order No. DIT(E)/1240/8E/109/69-70 dated 31.1.2005 issued by the Director of Income Tax (Exemptions), Kolkata, and communicated through Memo No. DIT(E)8E/109/69-70/4712-14 dated 10.2.2005 by Income Tax Officer (Exemptions)-III, Kolkata, for the Director of Income Tax (Exemptions), Kolkata.
2. Donations to Ramakrishna Mission, Belur Math, may be sent through cheques or demand drafts.
3. Account payee cheques / demand drafts should be drawn in favour of Ramakrishna Mission, Belur
4. Donations to Ramakrishna Mission, Belur Math, may be sent for any of the following purposes
   
   

(a)	Relief and rehabilitation
(b)	Charitable dispensary
(c)	Rural development
(d)	Rural development training
(e)	Pallimangal (Integrated Rural Development)
(f)	Integrated development of backward class people
(g)	Tribal welfare
(h)	Widows' welfare
(i)	Philanthropic and charitable activities
(j)	Scholarships to poor and meritorious students
(k)	Scholarships to women students
(l)	Scholarships to students for higher studies
(m)	Pecuniary and other help to the poor and needy
(n)	Pecuniary help to the poor for medical treatment
(o)	Research work
(p)	Maintenance of old and sick monks
(q)	General Fund

5. The amount of donation for permanent fund should be at least 5000 rupees / 200 dollars / 200 pounds.
6. For donations to Ramakrishna Mission, Belur Math, for permanent fund, a Letter of Consent should be sent to the General Secretary, Ramakrishna Mission, Belur Math, Dt.
