We have seen lot of software development methodologies in last few year. Mostly changed due to web development from client server development. I also using the RAD technology throughout the SDLC but now it too changing very fast by AGIL method. Now customer want their ever changing business logic very fast and in vary short span. Even some times a business logic stayed only for a week. So web engineer required new development method the answer is AGIL. But a problem also arising due to this methodology as there are very little and almost none documentation making developer critical if not impossible to remember the logic of process and modules some times later. We can change our fast development criteria with little bit of compromise by write good code communication.

I went to Europe (UK and Ireland) to implement and see my application on run by inviting client. About last 1 and 1/2 years, I have been working for a Indian software development company (Mass Software Solutions P Ltd) on off source projects of Europe based company, Ictstudio. Last one year I have been developing a huge ERP for caramboalkidz dot com (a very fast growing company in Ireland). The whole ERP developing by LAMP. PHP is the main work force for it. I went to Ireland mainly to deploy, see how my application is running on huge production, orders, logistic and account of that company. Client is happy from beginning on me and my technology (of course based on PHP and web 2). And I was too glad to see the application on run. PHP proves again that it can deliver world class technology solution on less and fast.

Now almost all PHP developer using one of the MVC Framework from many available. Though I have worked in few different frameworks including own created too. I had found so far my own created framework very helpful for its flexibility and adapting capability of third party tools. But I also found that Zend and CakePHP frameworks are best. CakePHP is more developer friendly and Zend is the more powerful for its Front Controller and extension capability. As PHP is growing very fast with many tools day by day and same time it is maturing as a fully object oriented language as Java. We surely need support from a good framework to manage complex development atmosphere.

May be to take on Googles search based advertisement through PHP and Yahoo or else. But one thing we can understand that some big player are trying to overtake the Open Source giants.
